I feel really bad that it has taken me a week since our return home to update this blog. I know I don't have any excuse either.... with 3 kids, a husband, 1 cat, 10 fish, laundry, dishes, meals, homework, swim class, music lessons, Girl Scouts, cookies sales/delivery, having to rearrange my house because my almost 1 1/2 year old won't leave anything alone....ect.... who wouldn't have plenty of time to blog?? :)
And it snowed today!!! Yeah!! Ally and I drove up past Magalia today, and took pictures, and got out and walked a little in the snow. It was a lot of fun, and a very unexpected surprise. Ally and I went to the mall yesterday, and had lunch, walked around, shopped, and bought new earrings. It was some nice one on one time with Ally. Which we rarely ever get.
Ally is healing very nicely, and pretty much back to her old self. We are still taking it easy, and she has not returned to school yet. We hope she can go back this coming Monday. She is getting really bored of being home, and missing her friends. She is going back to Girl Scouts tonight, which she is really happy about. Her troops cookies come in tonight, so we will be busy delivering cookies the next couple of days. both girls are doing really well with their cookies sales.
The plan now is to email Dr. Waner in a month with new pictures of Ally. Then if all goes as planned, we will return to NYC in June. We also have a trip down south to meet with the Dr. in LA that Ally needs to see for a second opinion. Another step in our LONG process of getting insurance to pay for Dr. Waner's surgeries. We are keeping our fingers crossed. More to come soon.
