Things are going pretty good for us right now.... after a hard couple of weeks.
It all started with Micah getting the stomach flu the night before Jason's B-day. Then 2 days later Trin followed, then Ally the next day, and then Jason the day after that. I somehow missed it, but then 2 days later on Easter I came down with a sinus infection and a fever. While I was in bed for 2 days, Ally, Trin, and Micah caught a head cold. Then just yesterday we found out Ally has a staph infection on her hemangioma on her neck. It was caused by a bug bite that was itched, and now to top it all off I have a tooth ache! AHHHHH! Needless to say we are all ready to feel better!!
Ally has been back in school now for over a month, and is doing very well. The kids are on spring break right now, but when they return to school on Monday Ally will be able to participate in P.E. again. She is very happy about that! The girls finished their cookie sales, and did very well with over 130 boxes sold each! They will be marching in the Gold Nugget parade in 2 weeks, so now they are working on their floats. They also have a spring sleepover coming up, and a lot of other fun activities.
We are heading down to southern CA next week for 5 days to go to Disneyland, and visit with my Grandma Bada in Long Beach. We are all so excited, and can't wait to leave! We earned our Disney tickets 2 weeks ago, by participating in the "Give a day of service earn a day a Disney" program. We all had a blast helping to prepare, serve, and clean up after a local community lunch. The girls have also been hard a work earning their spending money by doing chores around the house.
I spoke with one of the Drs. in Dr. Waner's office, and they are currently working on a plan for Ally's next surgery. Which will hopefully be in early June. More to come soon when I have the dates. Love to all!
