Resting...waiting...healing....

Ally's surgery went really well with no complications so far! We are so grateful. Thank you for all your prayers!

Ally was in surgery for a little over 2 1/2 hours. Dr. Waner removed the last spots on her temple and revised the scar. He also removed a lot of scar tissue left on her neck from the issues we had with the last surgery. Then he did a lot of laser on her chin, temple, and neck. Ally was in some pain yesterday, and woke up with a huge swollen eye. It was so swollen she couldn't open it at all!

We took a cab across town to see Dr. Waner today for a check up before we head home tomorrow. Due to some unforeseen changes in Dr. Waner's schedule we had to wait 3 hours in his office to see him. So, Jason went out and brought us back a yummy take out lunch to eat while we watched Finding Nemo. Ally was a trooper through it all, and Dr. Waner said everything looks good. We are so thankful to him!!!! What an amazing, caring, thoughtful man!

We would like to once again THANK Jason's parents for funding Ally's surgery, my Grandma GG and Papa for paying for our airfare both ways, and my Mom for flying down to spend the week with Trinity & Micah. We couldn't have done this with out all of you! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!

We will fly out of NYC tomorrow afternoon, and hopefully arrive home by late tomorrow night. Please pray for Ally as the traveling after surgery is very hard for her, and usually makes her very sore. Thank you again for all your prayers and support!
