Ally officially went into the operating room at 12pm East coast time. She did really well all morning not being able to eat or drink anything since last night. She got to visit with all the Drs from last time, and she was really excited about that. And, her and Trin got to participate in a new medical device expierment that Dr. Waner is conducting. They though it was a lot of fun. It is a new device that can detect veins below the skin that the naked eye cannot see well. This then makes it much easier to put IVs into children without the multiple pokes they often go through. Once again I am amazed at how lucky we are to have found such an amazing Dr!!!
They have decided to fix Ally's eye during this surgery, and do laser over ALL of her hemangiomas. She will most likely not have a drainage tube this time, and she is really happy about that!
Ally should be in surgery for about 2 hours. Please pray for her to have a safe and productive surgery!! I will update again tonight!
