We have finally nailed down almost all of the details for our trip. We will all leave together on Feb. 16th, and Jason, Trin, and Micah will return on the following Tuesday. Ally and I will most likely stay until March 1st or 2nd. There is a very small chance that they will use dissolvable stitches, and if that happens we will return at the same time as the others. Which would make me very happy! I am nervous about traveling separately...
We are still looking for a good deal on plane tickets, but I think I may just have to settle as the time to leave is coming quickly. I was able to get a 2 bedroom apartment 1/2 a block from the hospital, and 4 blocks from central park. That was a huge blessing, and a great price. We also booked tickets for the Statue of Liberty, and the girls are looking forward to that. ( I might have shared that already) All we need to do know is dig out all our warm clothes, and boots!
The kids had their first visit with our new pediatrician, and it seems like it will be ok. I am very relieved, but we still miss Dr. Tedford!!
We also found out that Ally's first recital is on Feb. 11th, so she will still be here for that. She is really excited, and we plan to video tape it, and share with everyone. Micah is also getting 8 new teeth at once! And Trinity got her first pair of glasses!
Wow, that date is coming in a hurry. Have a safe trip and enjoy the big apple. There is enough there to keep the family busy, for sure.
