Off to a good start!

Well, we made it safely to Harrisburg, PA. Our flights went really well. Even with 2 lay overs, and 3 different planes. The kids slept most of the time! Thank God for red eye flights!!

We spent Sunday afternoon getting settled at Jason's parents house. The girls got to drive the tractor, meet Jason's Grandma, Sissy for the first time, and we got to go to a great BBQ at the neighbors. Micah spent the afternoon riding Jason's old toy tractor, and running laps around the kitchen and living room.

We left this morning for NYC. We had a nice drive up, and got to enjoy the beginnings of the beautiful fall colors. I also got to finally find out why people are always talking about crazy Jersey drivers!

When we arrived at our "home away from home" as the desk man Jessie calls it, we were shocked at how nice the place is! We almost have as much room as we do back home, and everyone is sooooo very helpful and friendly! I am sure we chose the right place for Ally.

After checking in and getting settled we were off to Times Square. First stop was the 3 story Toys-R-Us that the kids have been talking about for weeks. We spent 2 hours walking around and checking it all out. We saw a giant T-rex, the barbie mansion with 2 stories, candyland, a huge game section, and we also got to ride on the indoor ferris wheel! After that we had dinner at the Hard Rock cafe, where Ally got her picture with a lot of Beatles memorabilia. ( which she was very excited about) Then we walked around, and took lots more pictures! The girls had a blast! We didn't get back to our apartment until 10:30 pm because they didn't want to leave.

Tomorrow is our first face to face meeting with Dr. Waner. We can't wait! Ally is getting a little scared, but we are doing our best to distract her! We miss you all! Thanks for keeping us in your prayers!

More to come tomorrow......
