Today is good, and a little bad.

It is good because Ally is feeling a little better. Her fever is mostly gone, and she is eating a little bit again. She still has a cough, and some swelling, but we are trying to looking on the bright side.

We saw the plastic surgeon in town on Wed. He agrees that the swelling has gone down, but there is still quite a bit under her eye. We have another appointment with him next Wed, and we will decide then if we need to drain any fluid. We are praying this will not happen. Ally has already been through so much.

We are also getting a visit tonight from Grandma GG and Papa! The girls are really excited to see them again! ( as well as Jason and I!) I am sure this will lift Ally's spirits a little!

The bad part is that today is Ally's big boat trip that she worked hard to gain funding for, and was really looking forward to. She is really bummed! We just don't think she is healthy enough to make such a big trip, and we don't want to compromise her healing process. Ally understands this, but feels like she is missing out on a lot of things lately. ( we try to keep her busy)

Hopefully she will feel well enough to do a little trick-or-treating tomorrow evening!
